A moment of authentic discovery of one of the extraordinary places of Florence, both for the architectural context and the manuscript treasures preserved in it, manuscripts that are famous throughout the world for their preciousness and importance. After a short visit to the monumental parts, some valuable documents will be exhibited including the very famous Squarcialupi Codex from which the music performed in the Elci Tribuna will be extracted

The Musical Visits, a new entry in this year’s edition, combine the discovery of places of exceptional artistic and cultural value with a final short concert, with music connected to the specific venue. It could be said that Florence hides, even from its citizens, in its urban fabric artistic wonders that we aim to reveal through music.
