During the fifteenth century, the Aragonese musical center moved from Spain to Naples, parallel to the exploits of King Alfonso V of Aragon, a transfer that made the Neapolitan court, starting from the time of the Magnanimous and throughout the fifteenth century , a solid artistic reality of national and international importance, acting as a meeting point for several distinct musical traditions and having a fundamental role in the evolution of European music.
Emyolia Ensemble proposes a performance that will include pieces selected from the repertoires of the Spanish Cancionero and some pieces shared with the Q16. This musical journey will offer an aural narrative of the thoughts of a fictional character, a Señore of the Spanish Renaissance court.
