The Ensemble L’Homme Armé’s activity has focused since 1982, date of its foundation in Florence, on the study and performance of early music, in particular vocal music of the Italian and Florentine cultural milieu.
FloReMus – Florence Renaissance Music Festival is now a member of REMA (Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne), the European network of Early Music Festivals!!! A few days ago the board of directors has accepted L’Homme Armé’s application, in behalf of FloReMus Festival, to become a member of Rema. Rema unites some of the most prestigious early music festivals of Europe ( Utrecht, Ambronay, Stockholm, York, Halle, just to name a few). We are very happy and honored to be part of this fantastic group of festivals!! https://www.rema-eemn.net/
